Untrack email in Outlook (V3C)

It is easy to track emails in Outlook which adds them to CRM. However, if an email linked to the wrong object, it is not as easy to "untrack" an email. Sonoma Partner blog describes how to do it, have a look: http://blog.sonomapartners.com/2007/05/remove_crm_link.html

  1. The Sonoma site gives a way to untrack in Outlook 2007, but not in 2003. The optins stated are not available in 2003. Any suggestions?

  2. Hi,
I'm not an expert at Outlook but the data needed is most probably stored in a similar way in Outlook 2003, in hidden fields and I am certain there is a way to have a look at them but I don't know exactly how. Try opening some kind of developer mode in Outlook, that would probably let you see it.

Try searching on the Internet for any more info but without searching with CRM, just with hidden fields and outlook 2003 and you might find something.

    Good luck!
